Single-use pancreatic stents in PTFE for drainage of the pancreatic duct, supplied with a positioning sleeve.
The duct. According to the manufacturer the pancreatic duct is far narrower than the common bile duct, so the stents used in it are 5 and 7 French, and they are perforated along their diameter so drainage from the side branches is not blocked.
The smallest accessory channel changes from model to model: the 5 French stents need 2.0 mm and the 7 French stents need 2.8 mm.
