The indication is open surgery: general, otorhinolaryngologic, plastic, gynecologic and urologic procedures, with coagulation of vessels up to and including 5 mm in diameter. The user is a surgeon trained in open procedures.
It does. The scissors are used with the AH-600 system: generator AH-611, transducer AH-616 and foot switch AH-618, so open surgery needs no transducer of its own.
