This page is intended for healthcare professionals.

Net Snare

A polypectomy snare with an integrated net for simultaneous resection and retrieval of polyps.

In which cases?

  • A pedunculated or sessile colon polyp small enough to sit inside the loop.
  • Surveillance colonoscopy with small polyps to be resected and retrieved.
  • A case with several small polyps that would otherwise be aspirated and lost.
  • A gastric or duodenal polyp where withdrawing the scope for a net would cost the position.

What makes it different?

  • Loop and net in one device the polyp is captured at the moment it is transected.
  • One instrument in the working channel, so the scope keeps its position.
  • Several loop sizes for different polyp morphologies.
  • Passed through a standard working channel, so no dedicated scope or second channel is needed.
