What makes it different?

Facet Cut tip; the manufacturer describes it as low resistance at puncture with a wide needle opening for the aspirate.
Stainless steel shaft with a round nitinol stylet the shaft stays stiff for the puncture and the stylet tip stays atraumatic.
Twist-Lock handle tube and needle length are set with one hand while the other hand holds the scope.

What is the needle used for?

Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration of submucosal and extraluminal lesions of the tracheobronchial tree and the gastrointestinal tract, for example lymph nodes or abnormal tissue in the mediastinum. No contraindication is specific to the needle itself.
