The UROMED NEPHROquick percutaneous nephrostomy set for percutaneous renal drainage: a 10 Fr (Ch) balloon catheter, plain or with two additional drainage holes. Dilator and balloon catheter are combined in a single instrument, so the catheter is placed in a few steps.
The balloon catheter with its combined obturator, a Lunderquist guidewire at 0.035 inch and 90 cm with its introducer, a puncture cannula at 17.5 G and 1.3 mm with an 18.5 cm needle, two fascial dilators at Ch 8 and Ch 10, and the filling medium for the balloon. The carton holds five sets.
The catheter. REF 2608/2530 carries a plain Ch 10 silicone balloon catheter; REF 2607/2531 carries the INTEGRAL Ch 10 catheter with two extra holes for calyceal drainage. Everything else in the two sets is the same.
