ESD Knife

An electrosurgical knife for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), enabling en-bloc resection of early GI neoplasms.

In which cases?

Early gastric, oesophageal or colorectal neoplasia planned for en bloc resection.
The circumferential mucosal incision that opens the plane before the dissection starts.
Dissection of the submucosal plane under a lesion that a snare cannot take whole.
Marking the resection margin around the lesion before the incision is made.

What makes it different?

Works with the high-frequency generator the unit already has, so no second generator is needed on the trolley.
Insulated tip the cutting element is the only exposed part of the knife.
Single-use, so the cutting element is in the same condition at the start of every dissection.
Marking, incision and dissection done with one device, so the trolley carries fewer items per case.
