Detailed Privacy Notice on Security Cameras

This privacy notice has been prepared by Melekırmak Sağlık Ürünleri Taşıma Gıda İnşaat Sanayi Limited Şirketi, acting as the data controller, within the framework of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, in order to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data, the legal reasons for such processing, the method of collection, to whom it may be transferred and your rights under the KVKK.

By means of security cameras at the main office entrance and exit areas of our company located at Mahmutbey Mah. 2567. Sk. No: 2 İç Kapı No: 31 Bağcılar / İstanbul, for the purposes of;

• ensuring the security of our service area,
• ensuring office and building security,
• preventing unauthorised entry,
• protecting the safety of employees, visitors and suppliers,
• ensuring the security of movable and immovable property
• detecting security incidents and examining them where necessary

video recording is carried out.

Recording operations are supervised by the administrative affairs department; the ordinary retention period of the recordings is 7 days, and at the end of this period the recordings are deleted automatically.

Your following data shared through the cameras located in our service area;

The personal data in question, set out in Article 5 of the Law;

• “It being mandatory to process data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”

is processed by automated means on the basis of this legal reason. In addition, your relevant personal data may be transferred, upon request, to judicial authorities or the relevant law enforcement agencies for the resolution of legal disputes or as required by the relevant legislation.

Article 20 of the Constitution establishes that everyone has the right to be informed about personal data concerning them. Article 11 of the KVKK lists the rights of the data subject under the law.

You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the Law, which regulates the rights of the data subject, in accordance with Article 5 of the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”, either in writing to the address Mahmutbey Mah. 2567.
