What is Taxol set:
Taxol set (paclitaxel,) is the name of the set used in the application of drugs.
What are the trade names of medicines containing Paklitaxel that are sold in our country:

How should the preparation of drugs with Paclitaxel active ingredient be made
All infusion sets, serum packages, pouches and all products that are in contact with the drug should be manufactured from DEHP free raw material. It is known that DEHP leaks from the inside of PVC tubes, connection points, connections of filters.
Taxol, Paclitaxel solutions should also be stored in bottles (glass, polypropylene) or plastic bags (polypropylene).
Application kits should be applied with dehp free, polyolefin and polyethylene lined application sets. A 0.2 micron particle filter must be provided on the set.
Paclitaxel (taxol) is a cytotoxic anticancer drug and should be used with great care. The Vials should be handled with chemotherapy gloves when using Taxol drugs.
