The Ultrasonic Surgical System is used for tissue dissection, cutting, hemostasis, and vessel sealing during open and laparoscopic surgeries.
Components:
The system consists of a generator, foot pedal, transducer, handpiece, and handpiece tip.
• Generator:
The control unit of the ultrasonic surgical system. Output power is controlled via the handpiece or foot pedal. Power levels can be adjusted from 1 to 5, where Level 1 represents the minimum power for optimal hemostasis, and Level 5 represents the maximum power for faster cutting.
• Handpiece:
Controls the opening and closing of the handpiece tip, clamping, and tissue cutting.
The AH-636-B handpiece has a “MAX” button preset to Level 5 for maximum cutting speed, and a “MIN” button preset to Level 3. The power can be adjusted between Level 1 and Level 4 using the touchscreen.
• Transducer:
Converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.
• Foot Pedal:
o Left pedal activates maximum power.
o Right pedal activates lower power.
o The foot pedal is rated IPX8 waterproof.
• Handpiece Tip:
Single-use only.
Application:
Designed for open or laparoscopic general and gynecological surgeries where bleeding control and minimal thermal damage are desired during soft tissue dissection.
Important Usage Note:
• Not suitable for use on blood vessels with a closed diameter greater than 3 mm.
• Not intended for bone incision, tube ligation, or neurosurgery applications.
